Day 1: AIRPORT / AJLOUN
Arrival to Queen Alia Airport.
*If you are arriving early, we can arrange for an addition activity along the way.
(Art Gallery Tour / Royal Automobile Museum / A Walk through Amman’s old town districts / Visit local fruit and spice market / Prepare a local lunch / Eat Hummus and Falafel at the oldest restaurant in Downtown Amman / Visit Jerash / Hike in Ajloun Forest and visit the local Soap House).
Transfer to Ajloun.
Mansaf/Maqloubah (dishes prepared by a local family).
Camping/Homestay with the local family.

Day 2: AJLOUN / KHIRBET AL-SOUQ
Distance: 16 KM | Elevation: Lowest 630 m Highest: 1050 m | Difficulty:
Organic breakfast and freshly baked bread.
Go back in history and visit Ajloun Castle through the sprawling forest.
Start your hike from Ajloun Castle through marvelous greens all the way to Khirbet Al-Souq where you will be greeted by your hosting local family with Arabic Coffee and Dates.
Camping/Homestay with a local family.

Day 3: KHIRBET AL-SOUQ / KING TALAL DAM
Distance: 12 KM | Elevation: Lowest 190 m Highest: 950 | Difficulty:
Freshly prepared breakfast by the hosting family.
Hiking through enormous pine trees into the villages and encountering lots of locals inviting you in for a cup of tea.
Lots of stops, as this trail is known for its picturesque sceneries (Charge up on those power banks!)
Arriving at the camp site overlooking the breathtaking scene of King Talal Dam (especially during the months of March and April).
Camping.

Day 4: WADI HIDAN / WADI MUJIB
Distance: 15 KM | Elevation: Lowest 20 m Highest: 760 | Difficulty:
Early transfer to Wadi Hidan to start hiking to Wadi Mujib where you will encounter spectacular Bedouin shepherd paths and challenging cliffs.
Camping/Pampering yourself to a night at the Mujib Chalets.

Day 5: WADI MUJIB / DEAD SEA / DHANA
If you missed your news report this morning… grab a copy of the Jordan Times and float in the mesmerizing salty Dead Sea water.
A full day at the lowest point on earth to unwind and relax in the salty water, a day before the challenge kicks in!
Transfer to Dhana Natural Reserve. Camping/Guesthouse.

Day 6: DHANA / WADI MALAGA
(Distance: 23 KM | Elevation: Lowest 250 m Highest: 1250 | Difficulty:
Travel through Wadi Dana sandstone terrains, arriving to Feynan Eco Lodge and perhaps join a nearby Bedouin family in their tent for a cup of tea./
This hike is known for its scenic sunset views and camping spot.
Camping.

Day 7: LITTLE PETRA / PETRA
(Distance: 12.6 KM | Elevation: Lowest 890 m Highest: 1100 | Difficulty:
Transfer to Little Petra.
A personal favorite hike which we do not want our guests to miss.
This will give you a completely different feel of experiencing Petra from the ‘Back Door’.
This sandstone mount trail will walk you through the Nabatean route all the way to the Monastery. We will give you a minute or two for the beauty of the view to sink in!
Overnight in Petra.

Day 8: PETRA / WADI RUM
(Distance: 23 KM | Elevation: Lowest 900 m Highest: 1000 | Difficulty:
Transfer to Abbasiya to start the splendid hike approaching Jabal Kharaza, the famous naturally formed arch.
Enjoy a Zarb dinner under the marvelous sky lit stars.
Camping.

Day 9: WADI RUM / AMMAN
Wrapping the trip with a Sunrise Camel Ride and Fresh Bedouin Tea.
Hop into a 4x4 Bedouin jeep tour inside the desert to trace the dunes of Lawrence of Arabia!
